Limahl ...Un Amour De British

For the release of his latest single, Cool met Limahl, ex member of Kajagoogoo. For 3 years, this Londoner has been happily following a solo career; he finds it simpler now to lead his own career. "In a group, there are other people so there is much emotion and sensitivity that it is sometimes difficult... ".

After having written many lyrics about politics and on nuclear war, which he stongly denounced, Limahl rediscovered his first passion for songs about love. Love he says, is "something that everybody has lived, lives or will live, something which one remembers and of which one dreams with tenderness."

We live in complete chaos in a world of violence and misery. Nowadays I feel music is an escape, an adventure which makes us forget the daily reality and helps to make us dream".

Positive vision: 'Only For Love' and 'Too Much Trouble' quickly became enormous hits in Europe and Japan. It was at a show in the country known as the Land of the Rising Sun, during the Tokyo Music Festival in 1984, that the prestigious producer Giorgio Moroder noticed Limahl and proposed to him to sing on the original soundtrack of a science-fiction movie. The result: 'The never ending story' invaded the radio waves and pop charts all over the world.

After this effective collaboration, Limahl and Giorgio Moroder return today with 'Love in your eyes', a romantic and sentimental ballad. The interpretation is of an undeniable quality, confirms Limahls reputation and makes us sharpen our hearing while waiting for the arrival of his next album 'Colour all my days.'
