What did happen with Christopher Hamill? Well, he was transformed to the 80s popicon Limahl, who released a couple of albums as soloist and as the front singer of KajaGooGoo. But what happened with Limahl? Did his career really turn in to The Never Ending Story? That would be a shame to say, but now the 42 year old Limahl still goes around in England with the faithfull fans. So faithfull that fanpages are now appearing on the internet for the spikyhaired popstar.

But what does the man with the elegant haircut do now? Well, he is now travelling around England with the musical What A Feeling, where he has a principal part. Otherwise most of Limahls time goes on TV shows, mixing or performing in clubs, where he gives a taste from his 80’s repertoire – most of it is a play-back, not so much new there.

Did you know for example that Limahl in 1984 got The Golden Hammer Smurf as a proof on his title as the singer of the year by the German music magazine POP/Rocky, that he is a vegetarian, or that he actually had worked as a hairdresser?
