I'm a big Limahl/Kajagoogoo fan so you can imagine my surprise this past January when he walked into the place where I work in Chicago. Of all the places! It happened on January 7, 2005. It was a pretty boring day until I noticed a petite man with blonde spiky hair walk into the food court where I manage a restaurant. My heart was racing. It looked like Limahl, but I wasn't sure until he walked right passed me, and then I knew it was him. I introduced myself and told him I was a big fan, and he was so nice. He asked me if I had seen him on Bands Reunited, and he seemed very surprised that I recognized him. "Wow, most of my fans are from the UK," he told me. He was really sweet, and seemed very happy to take time out to talk to his fan. He actually stopped and talked aith me for a few minutes. I was just so...I don't think there are words, but I could not believe it was him! He wished me a Happy New Year, and we hugged. My overall impression of Limahl was that he was a very genuine, down-to-earth person. He was really great. When he left, I called everyone I knew, practically screaming.
