What A Feeling!

The Rock 'n' Pop Musicals in Concert

Starring

GWEN DICKEY * LIMAHL * 4 THE BOYZ

With a full supporting company of singers, dancers and the Rock 'n' Pop Musicals Band.

After achieving spectacular sell-out success with the 1996 and 1997 UK and overseas tours, "What a Feeling" is returning for a major national UK tour for the first time in three years, with an all new, spectacular production celebrating the rock and pop movies and musicals of the seventies, eighties and nineties.

Take a two-hour trip into the mega movies and musicals with an explosion of hi-energy hit songs and hot dance from DIRTY DANCING, MAMA MIA, FAME, GREASE, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, CARWASH, FOOTLOOSE, FLASHDANCE, and many more.

This all-new production sees an amazing line up of disco diva and voice of Rose Royce, Gwen Dickey, top eighties star Limahl, joined by the all new boy band sensation 4 The Boyz.

GWEN DICKEY first hit the spotlight as the voice on all the hit records made famous by Rose Royce. It is Gwen's stunning vocals that can be heard on all their classic hits of the 70's such as "Car Wash", "Wishing on a Star", "Love Don't Live Here Anymore", "Do Your Dance", "Is it Love You're After", "I'm in Love (and I Love the Feeling)" and "I Wanna Get next to You". After leaving Rose Royce, Gwen continued to perform and record and enjoyed her first solo chart success with KWS on Chaka Khan's classic hit "Ain't Nobody" in 1984. More recently Gwen teamed up with international rap artiste Jay Z for a brand new version of "Wishing on a Star". The record entered the UK charts at No 13, and went on to give Gwen her first solo top ten hit in 1998. She will soon be going back into the recording studio to record some new material for release in the very near future.

LIMAHL is most famously known as the outrageous front man of Kajagoogoo, who were one of the biggest British pop groups of the day. After three top ten hits, including the worldwide smash "Too Shy" and a million selling debut album "White Feathers" Limahl and the band went their separate ways. He went on to enjoy solo chart success, notably with hits such as "Only For Love" and "Neverending Story", from the hit film of the same name, which went on to reach No.1 in over 17 countries. Limahl then progressed to composing, producing and remixing for artists such as Tony Di Bart, Livin' Joy, Kim Wilde, Peter Andre and Worlds Apart. Limahl originally started out in musicals theatre after winning a singing competition at the age of 16. At this tender age he departed for London and began a dedicated apprentice in London's West End. He performed in such classics as "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat", "Godspell" and Agatha Christie's "Murder at the Vicarage". With such a solid background in West End theatre, it was inevitable that Limahl would one day return to the stage.
